She has 17 years of investment and research experience in consumer-facing sectors, during which she has closely worked with founders across early-stage to listed companies – creating disruptor brands, building emerging categories, and driving long term value creation. She has witnessed the complete lifecycle of 3 venture capital funds, from raising capital, investing across business life cycles to creating liquidity events. Swati is an active Board Member / Observer in Sixth Sense portfolio companies. Prior to Sixth Sense Ventures, she was with IDFC Securities, focusing on investment analysis of consumer-centric companies across both listed and private domains.
She was honoured with the Thomson Reuters StarMine Award in 2014 for being the No.1 Stock Picker in Media and received a Certificate of Appreciation at IDFC for her differentiated and path breaking research work. Recognized as the top 43 Women Investors in India by Inc42, she currently manages the sourcing-to-exit investment process at Sixth Sense.
